Summary

HerdPrint is a local-first macOS app for arranging and printing invoices. The app does not operate a developer server, does not include advertising or analytics, and does not use cross-app tracking. This policy explains the local data surfaces and the direct connections the app can make to services you choose.

Data handled on your Mac

HerdPrint processes the files you authorize through the macOS file picker or drag and drop. This can include PDF, JPEG, PNG, and ZIP files containing supported invoice images. The current invoice list, thumbnails, and layout state remain in the current app session.

The app also stores local preferences such as layout, appearance, language, mail search defaults, and file-naming choices. Mail import history identifiers are kept locally so an attachment already imported from a configured account can be recognized in later searches. These identifiers are removed when that mail account is removed, and local app data is also removed when you delete the app.

Mail import

If you configure mail import, HerdPrint connects directly to the IMAP server and mailbox you specify. The app uses the mailbox to search message metadata and downloads only the attachments you select for import. Mail account configuration is stored in the app container. Mail credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain and are not sent to ASUGAR.APP or a developer-operated server.

Selected mail attachments are downloaded to a temporary session directory while they are imported. HerdPrint removes the session directory when the session ends and cleans up stale HerdPrint mail-import sessions on a later import. You control any files that you export to another location.

Your mail provider may process connection details, message metadata, and mail content under its own privacy policy. Review that provider’s policy before enabling mail import. Never send your mailbox password in a support email.

Purchases

HerdPrint offers an optional one-time Pro purchase. Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple’s StoreKit and App Store services. ASUGAR.APP does not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. The app reads the purchase entitlement needed to unlock Pro features on your device.

What we do not collect

  • No developer-operated account or registration system.
  • No developer-operated database containing your invoices, mail, or usage history.
  • No advertising identifier, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking.
  • No sale or transfer of invoice files, mail content, or personal data by ASUGAR.APP.

Retention and deletion

The current invoice session is cleared when HerdPrint quits. Temporary mail-import files are removed with the session or during later stale-session cleanup. Local preferences and import-history identifiers remain until you change or remove them through the app, remove the associated mail account, delete the app, or remove the app’s data using macOS tools. Exported files are stored wherever you choose and are under your control.

Children

HerdPrint is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
